Sussex Strong, the Sussex County Association of Realtors foundation, continued its mission to strengthen the community by helping its neighbors with a donation of $2,700 to Sussex County Habitat for Humanity.
Sussex Habitat uses donations and volunteers to build affordable homes and revitalize communities. Generous support, like the $2,700 donation from Sussex Strong, helps Sussex County families build strength, stability and self-reliance.
“This check is just the first of what we hope will be many in providing support to the residents of our county through the great work of Sussex County Habitat for Humanity,“ said Joe Della Torre of Union Home Mortgage, current board president of Sussex Strong. “In strengthening and uplifting children and families in Sussex County, we know we help our community to be stronger as well. We are looking forward to growing the relationship with such a great organization.”
Sussex Strong has contributed more than $1,000,000 to the Sussex County community and has served more than 8,200 residents of Sussex County. The money raised by the foundation stays local because Realtors know the positive change that is possible when they give back to families in need.
